我們從卡加利向您們問安！新的一年已過了個多月，您們好嗎？上個月27、28日在柬埔寨有一個大型活動——福音進入柬埔寨一百年慶典，有35,000人參加，其中近二千人是非信徒。洪森總理和許多政府官員都到場參加，並對基督徒在柬埔寨所做的一切表示讚賞。政府官員甚至為今次聚會提供了7,500美元的捐款。感謝您們為這次活動祈禱。願上帝的名被高舉和得榮耀，並有更多人被吸引來信耶穌！

感恩事項：

1. 活石堂在去年聖誕慶祝會，有些在新冠疫情解封後仍未返教會的信徒回來參加，也有新朋友出席。其中一位男士威夏在聚會中接受耶穌為救主。
2. 1月20日和2月3日，我們在網上與活石堂的同工和高韙姊妹舉行了員工會議。我們坦誠地分享和討論教會事工的強項和需要改善的地方，並制定了今年的目標和策略。
3. 心聆姊妹找到新工作，可以在星期日與兩個兒子返教會。
4. 約瑟做了白內障手術，復原良好。

求恩事項：

1. 活石堂波拿傳道的兒子約瑟駕駛電單車時發生意外，他左腿踝骨折斷。現在行動不便，可能影響三月上學，請為他能早日完全康復祈禱，並讓他與家人的關係更加親密。
2. 請記念新信的美美妹妹、威夏、彼淪，和已來幾次的Sey Nat和Sey Rot都能繼續返教會。
3. 兼職同工屋噹弟兄是聖經學院三年級學生，今年會培訓他帶領主日敬拜團隊六個月。請為他祈求智慧和與成員有良好關係。
4. 新光幼稚園已請到兩位英文老師，請為他們能早日適應教導小朋友禱告。

Dear family, brothers and sisters in Christ,

        Greetings from Calgary! How are you doing so far in the new year? We would like to update you with the big event on January 27,28 in Cambodia. It is the centennial celebration of the gospel that came into this country. It was well attended by 35,000 during these 2 days. 5% were non-believers. Prime minister Hun Sen and many government officials were there and expressed appreciation for what Christians have been doing in Cambodia. The government even gave an offering of US $7,500 to this program. Thank you for praying for this event. May the name of God be lifted up and glorified, and many people will be drawn to Jesus!

        Please continue to praise God and pray for our Living Stone Church. Thank you.

Praise items:

• Last year’s Christmas program was well attended with old members who haven’t been coming after covid, and many new friends. Wei Ha accepted Jesus as his Savior after the sermon.
• On January 20 and February 3 there were staff meetings with our Khmer staff, Angel Gao and us through zoom. We had an open and honest discussion about our strengths and weaknesses in our ministry. Also, we set some vision and strategy.
• Som Niang found another job so she can come to church with her 2 boys.
• Joseph’s cataract surgery was successful. His eyes are healed nicely.

Prayer requests:

• Joseph, son of our Khmer staff, has a fractured ankle in a motorcycle accident. Please pray for his complete healing and bringing his family closer together.
• The spiritual growth of the new believers: Mei Mei, Wei Ha, Phirum, and those who came a few times: Sey Nat and Sey Rot that they will be interested in the gospel.
• Udom, our part time staff who is attending the Bible School, will lead the Sunday worship team for a 6-month trial. Pray for wisdom and good relationships with the members.
• Sonlight Kindergarten has hired two English teachers. Please pray for their adjustment in teaching children.
