Dear friends and family,
How time flies; spring is here already! We can see life around us. As we will celebrate Easter season, we also see hope and new life in Christ!
On March 14th our church was saddened to lose one of our members. “Ming Wood” who had had TB for the last 20 years went to be with the Lord. In the last 10 years she had been faithful in attending our church. Since the end of last year she had been weak staying in bed at home. About 3-4 years ago she was hospitalized for kidney infection. During her stay she saw Jesus in the light and He told her to go home because her time was not yet arrived. Then she was well and witnessed for Jesus. Now it’s the appointed time for her to go with our Lord. Her family is poor; before she died she was worried about the all the expenses of her burial service. But we praise God that He had provided all the needs. We are sad to lose her but now she is without any pain, worries but spends glorious time with God our Father. She left her husband and two grown up sons; three of them used to come to church before. Her husband was touched by the love of God and brothers and sisters in Christ. Please pray that they really give their lives to Christ and let the Holy Spirit lead them.
Please continue to praise God and pray for us:
- the water leakage of one of the rooms in our church is fixed. There had been workers who came and fixed it again and again but no success. Praise the Lord that now is fixed!
- we will have baptismal service in mid-May; please pray that the 8 young people who are taking the lessons will root their faith in God’s word.
- our school has 60 plus students and 40 plus toddlers in our nursery. Please pray for more patience and love for our teachers and nannies.
- the Khmer New Year falls on the same date of Easter holiday. Please pray for the believers that they will be good testimony to those around them. And also that fighting and traffic accidents due to drinking will be lessened.
- we will be on home assignment from 10th of August until 10th of November. During this time our school’s administrator will be on maternity leave for 2 months. Please pry for provision for someone who can look after our school for 2-3 months.
- pray for those who are sick with TB and hepatitis C in our church.
Thank you for your prayers, and support in different ways. Let us know if there’s anything we can pray for you!
In His service,
Joseph and Liza Ng
