親愛的代禱夥伴：
最近有三位姐妹信主。她們信主的過程都不相同，但是，都是因為得到基督徒愛心的幫助，以及信徒在主前的代求，成就了美好的事。
顧姐妹的妹妹是個熱心傳福音的信徒，為姐姐能夠信主，與帶領她信主的印度裔馬利亞姐妹十多年來一直為姐姐信主同心祈求，並且勸她信主。但顧姐妹拜佛多年，她固定會去參加佛堂的各項活動，並且從台灣買來高價的偶像參拜。雖然我們有機會與她交談，但是無法和她談福音，因為她都會很禮貌而且直接的回絕你。雖然她的心被蒙蔽，但主仍要拯救她。主藉著她的獨生女兒的病，讓她看見神的大能和眷顧。她女兒生了一個很特別血不凝固的病，兩年來嘗試了各樣的方法都沒有治好，嚴重時甚至要到醫院做脊椎穿刺，一家人都心力交瘁。在她女兒血小板指數落到個位數字時，在人的盡頭，她的心被軟化了，她轉向真神，她向神呼求醫治她的女兒，主應允了她！她女兒的血小板神奇的回升，（現今她女兒血小板已回復正常指數），顧姐妹立刻決定信主，要離棄偶像。那天我們帶著教會的同工、她的親妹妹和馬利亞姐妹去除偶像，也為他們住屋及工廠潔淨和祝福。在她做決志禱告時，她的淚水不住的湧流在她臉上。我們從心底發出對神的讚美，感謝神拯救了她！
張姐妹從中國來南非打工，後來和朋友一起經營成衣廠。她到了南非之後，跟人去佛堂拜，但也不知道拜的是什麼，認為有拜就有保佑。前幾個月，她生了重病，不會說英語也不懂得去哪裡找醫生。我們教會一位剛受洗的丁姐妹，任勞任怨的接送她去醫院看病與動手術，為她翻譯，總是安慰她，鼓勵她，替她身體康復禱告，勸她信耶穌，出院後帶她參加教會聚會。後來我們向她傳講福音，她就決志信主。
張姐妹的朋友那天也和她一起決志接受耶穌基督的救恩。侯姐妹也是從中國來。她和我們曾在別的城市相識。因著丁姐妹的邀請，她也來到教會。她本來居住的地方很不寧靜，常遭宵小，晚上都很害怕不能入睡。她決志那天我們一起同心為她居住的平安祈求神。隔週神就引領她搬到一間安全可住宿的小店。一次解決她的安全、房租和工作的問題。她對神的感謝和她的歡樂是可想像的。我們亦驚訝不已，神行事奇妙，祂是恩典的主。
我們因此增加了基本要道的課程為初信的信徒上課，有良好的真理根基才會有健康的靈性成長，請為她們的學習代禱。也請為前一批受洗信徒的課程學習及成長代禱。教會中有幾位弟兄姐妹有潛力服事的，我們另外以不同的研討輔助課程訓練他們，也請為這幾位弟兄姐妹代禱。
感謝主！兩個月來我們感到和開普敦教會的成員有更多良好的互動。在開普敦北區週三晚上原有的查經聚會之外，我們這個月在開普敦南區科里蒙 (Claremont) 增加了週日晚的一個查經小組。求神給我們有更多機會瞭解當地的需要，知道如何規劃事工。
代禱事項：
- 求主保守新近信主的三位姐妹，求主使她們的信心因為學習而繼續成長。
- 為參加不同課程的弟兄姐妹代禱，求主賜他們受教的心去學習。
- 請繼續為我們支援開普敦事工的服事代禱，求主使用我們融入事工、堅立信徒。
- 請繼續為各教會中的慕道友信主代禱。求主軟化他們驕傲的心，使他們明白需要被拯救。
- 請繼續為我們出外往各地事工及行車的安全代禱。

Dear Prayer Partners,
God gave us three new Christians! They all came to know the Lord in different ways, but all because of Christian love and prayer intercessions.
Sister Ku’s sister has been evangelizing to her since she became a Christian more than 10 years ago. The one who led her to Christ is also Sister Ku’s friend, and together they have been praying for her salvation. However, Sister Ku had been a devoted Buddhist and attended all the activities of the local Buddhist temple. She even purchased a very expensive idol from Taiwan and worshiped it at her home. Whenever we chatted with her, we were not able to touch on the gospel because she would very politely but firmly reject it. Even though she was blinded, God never gave up on her! The Lord let her experience His power and mercy. About two years ago, her daughter developed a depletion of blood platelets. The medication did not seem to help, and she even needed to stay in the hospital for a spinal puncture. It was draining for the whole family both physically and emotionally. At one point, the blood platelets count was down to single digit. Last December, her daughter had to do another blood test to determine if she needed to go to the hospital again. At that point, Sister Ku’s heart was finally open to the Lord and cried out to Him for help. God answered her prayer! The result was good enough for her not to go through another spinal puncture. (Her blood platelets count has since been steady within the normal range.) She immediately told her sister and wanted to become a Christian and get rid of her idol. That day, together with some church leaders, her sister and their friend, we went to her home to remove her idol and pray for her house and factory. When she prayed to accept Christ, her tears kept running down her face. We were truly in awe and praised God!
Sister Zhang first came to South Africa from China for employment. Later she was able to start her own manufacturing factory. Some of her friends had taken her to the Buddhist temple before, but she did not understand what she was doing. She just thought that any god is better than no god. A few months ago, she got really sick. She did not speak much English and did not know where to find the right doctor. One of the new Christians, Sister Ding, in our church knew of her situation. She took the time to help her find the right doctor and accompanied her to all doctor visits to translate for her. She also constantly encouraged her, comforted her, prayed for her and told her to rely on Jesus. After her operation, our sister invited her to church. Afterwards, we had a chance to share the gospel with her when we visited her in her factory. She accepted Christ right away.
Sister Zhang’s friend, Sister Hau, also accepted Christ with her. Sister Hau also came from China; we actually met her before in another city. She was also invited by Sister Ding to come to church. She used to live in a very unsafe flat, and her place had been broken in a few times. She was so afraid at night that she was not able to sleep at all. We prayed together for her and asked for God’s protection. Within a week, she and her husband found a shop space with living quarters behind the shop. The rent is not too much more than what they used to pay plus she now has a shop to make a living. The way God solved her problem was way beyond what we could think of asking! She is full of joy, and we are again truly amazed by God’s wondrous grace!
As a result, we added two new Basic Christianity classes for the new Christians (one for Sister Ku, another one for Sister Zhang and Sister Hau). Please pray for them as faith can only grow on a solid truth foundation. Please continue to pray for the on-going class for the recently baptized Christians that they may grow in knowledge and love. We also started different classes to train those whom we believe have the heart and potential to serve. Please pray for them as well.
Praise the Lord! In the past two months, we were able to get acquainted with the brothers and sisters of the Cape Town church. In addition to the regular Bible study on Wednesday night, this month we began a second Bible study on Sunday night in the southern part of the city (Claremont). May God give us more opportunities to assess the needs in Cape Town and know how He wants us to serve in this community.
Prayer Requests:
- Please pray for the three new Christians that the Lord will strengthen their faith through the study of His truth.
- Please pray for all the different classes that brothers and sisters are eager to learn and obey.
- Please continue to pray for the new ministry in Cape Town that we may be useful to the Lord in helping Christians to stand firm in their faith as well as outreaching to others in the Chinese community.
- Please pray for the seekers in all the churches. May the Lord soften their hearts to understand their need for salvation.
- Please continue to pray for our safety as we travel to different cities and towns.
